The Feywild
The Plane of Faerie — the world's reflection turned up until it glows, and bleeds.
- Terrain
- forest, glade, and thorn, all of it too vivid to trust
- Climate
- seasons that answer to mood, not to months
Overview
The Feywild lies alongside the mortal world like a reflection in dark water — the same shapes, but brighter, sharper, and quicker to cut. Joy and dread run undiluted here. Time keeps its own counsel: an afternoon can cost a year, or a year an afternoon.
Notable Features
Emotion has weight in the Feywild. Grief pools in the hollows; delight gilds the canopy. The Archfey and their courts hold what passes for order, and their quarrels are the plane’s weather.
The Green
Under everything runs the Green — the living leyline, the plane’s active planar energy. It is not a place so much as a pressure: the current the Feywild grows along and the fey draw power from. Where the Green runs strong, the world listens more closely; where it runs thin, the dark gets a say. Druids like Hiram feel it the way others feel weather.
